 Capt. Jack Vincent or as we call him "Grander Jack" is a California native. For nearly four decades now he has fished the waters of the west coast from Fort Brag, Cal. to Ixtapa, Mexico. Since 1990 Capt Jack has fished the Southern California Bite for everything from Calico Bass along the coast to Tuna, Marlin, Dorado and Shark offshore. His specialty is Shark fishing for Mako and Thresher. Weather your target is a small Mako on light tackle, a hard fighting Thresher or a world class Mako on one of his trophy mako trips in Los Angles Jack has the skill, knowledge and experience to make your trip a successful one.

Growing up on the beach just north of Mission Bay, there was no doubt the ocean was going to be a lifelong passion and way of life for Lou. Building his first boat at age 24 he started commercial fishing and he's never looked back. Receiving his captains license in 2004 has given "Old School" the  opportunity to give back 40 plus years of of local fishing knowledge.   "Sharks are my specialty / makos my passion". When he's not shark fishing you'll find him pulling lobster traps or slaying local rock fish!
